the awsum.oh! what started off as half wave skate and half surfboard morphed into a small wave wonder. due to the feed back on the original design we found that more people wanted it to be more surfboard and less skate. so we added tail rocker to increase bottom curve allowing for tight turns and at the same time kept the volume up front but thinned out the tail for maximum bite. this allows the board to catch waves easy but can be surfed in faster, bigger, and hollow surf while still being your small wave super fun secret weapon. the moderate single concave coupled with lower entry rocker allows for easy wave catching and lots of speed right away. then we added a slight vee behind the back fin for increased back foot sensitvity. the round tail gives continued curve in the outline and still provides plenty of planing/lift through those slow, mushy, flat spots.
ride this model 6″ to 8” shorter, about 1″ to 1 1/2” wider and about 1/8″ to 1/4” thicker.
comes standard as a thruster but is available in quad or 5 fin (quad or thruster) configuration
