the AWSUM.OH! this is one of our funnest models – i am always on this thing. what started off as half wave skate and half surfboard morphed into a small wave wonder. due to the feed back on the original design we found that more people wanted it to be more surfboard and less skate. so we added tail rocker to increase bottom curve allowing for tight turns. we increased the single concave and run it from tip to tail. at the same time we kept the volume up front and gave the AWSUM.OH! a slightly more thinned out round tail. so with the low entry rocker, good single concave, continued rail line of the round tail….. this makes for easy wave catching, lots of speed right away, tail/turning sensitivity and plenty of planing/lift through those slow, mushy, flat spots.
ride this model 6″ to 8” shorter, about 1″ to 1 1/2” wider and about 1/8″ to 1/4” thicker.
