the bottle rocket has low entry rocker allowing speed straight out of the gate. there is a deep concave starting at the nose and going all the way to the tail with the deepest part between the feet. this gives the board plenty of
lift and straightens the center line making for a very fast board in small to medium surf. with all that concave the
rail rocker has all the curve allowing for nice tight arcs when on a rail. it gives the best of both worlds for smaller surf. this board surprises everyone with how well it works in a variety of types and sizes of waves.
the bottle rocket comes standard with a double-wing-stealth-crescent tail. wings provide a nice break in the outline and pulls the tail in for nice tight turns. the stealth creascent tail shortens the rail line so it surfs shorter while creating a small cutaway creating some nice bite for those quick direction changes.
depending on whether you are after more float for catching more waves or wanting a quick performance small wave board we recommend riding a bottle rocket 3 to 6 inches shorter, 1/4″ to 3/4″ wider, and the same thickness to 3/8″ thicker than your usual shortboard.
