the bam 2 is a modified BAMBURGER. we took the same rocker that everyone loved and made some changes for the people that wanted a little more of a performance type round nose fish out of their BAMBURGER. so we increased the width and increased the thickness/foil in the nose area. this adds more float and planing up front. the other big difference is the stealth tail. this tail is a modified diamond tail. this gives the board a shorter rail line helping the board feel like it “surfs shorter”. there is a small swallow tail in the middle of the diamond tail giving more lift/surface area than a standard swallow tail but still gives a little loosness and plenty of grab/bite. rocker is the same overall as the BAMBURGER but has a slight increase in curve on the bottom making the board real lively vs. that usual “flat fishy” feel. the other benefit of this is making sure the bottom is sensitive enough to weigh shift allowing the wider nose to lift and get out of the way when coming of the bottom. just like the BAMBURGER, the BAM2′s bottom is a single concave giving the board plenty of lift for speed with a little addition of slight vee just behind the back fin.
