the FISHSTICK is a performance quad fish. loving a lot of aspects of the fish surfboard, there were a couple things that frustrate us about them. they usually are fast, but flat, not allowing for carving modern vertical lines. most of them are full railed and corky, making them fast but not easy to surf in faster or hollower waves or make quick direction changes. so…… the FISHSTICK was born. wide nose, but not too wide, allowing the board to hug the face a little better and fit in to tighter situations all while getting the full benefits of the “fish” outline. a thin foiled out tail allowing the board to get in to the water once on a rail. this gives you a nice positive bite and control. more tail rocker, a single to slight double concave with some vee right between the fins, and you end up with lift and speed while driving down the line and at the same time helping the width of the board move rail to rail with ease and control.
